The University of Montana Western Equestrian team competed on Nov. 6 and 7 in three English shows hosted at The University of Montana.

The Montana Western equestrian team made history after winning the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association regional English title last weekend. Montana Western is the first school in Zone 3 history to win both the English and Western title in the same year.

The Montana Western equestrian team won the Region 3, Zone 8 Western riding title and qualified for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association semi-finals in Syracuse, New York.

The University of Montana Western equestrian team competed at the Montana State University horse show in Bozeman, Mont. this past weekend. The Bulldogs won Reserve High Point Team in the Saturday morning show and High Point Team in both the Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning shows.

The University of Montana Western Equestrian Team competed in Twin Falls, Idaho over the Halloween weekend against teams from Montana State University, University of Montana, Carroll College, University of Utah, Rocky Mountain College, and the College of Southern Idaho.
