Gabe Rucker, a 6-foot-1 point guard from Bozeman, Mont., is the newest member of the 2010 Bulldogs men’s basketball team.
The Montana Western Bulldogs make their eighth appearance at the NAIA national basketball tournament when they face Union University of Tennessee in a first-round game. Tipoff is 8:45 p.m.

Westminster College downed the Bulldogs 76-68 in the championship game of the Frontier Conference men’s playoffs. The Bulldogs now travel to Kansas City, Mo. for the NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship March 17-23.
The Bulldogs edged Montana State University-Northern in the conference playoff semifinals and now play Westminster College for the Frontier Conference playoff title. Tipoff is 7 p.m. from Salt Lake City.
The University of Montana Western Bulldogs host the Montana State University-Northern Lights in a Frontier Conference men’s playoff semifinal game Friday, March 5 at 7 p.m. in Montana Western’s Straugh Gymnasium.
