Historic Old Main Restoring a Legacy:

The renovation of a Montana Western landmark.

Main Hall, the first building on the University of Montana Western campus, is an icon in Montana. For over 100 years, the “Old Main” complex has served this campus as well as the communities of southwestern Montana.

Now, through funding from the Montana Legislature and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the complex will receive a long overdue renovation to ensure Main Hall’s service well into the future. Join us in these pages as we document the restoration of a true legacy.
