Equestrian competes in Florida

Four riders from the University of Montana Western Bulldogs equestrian team competed in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Associations western shows on March 24 and 25. The event was hosted by Florida State University at the Ocala Equestrian Complex in Ocala, Fla.

University of Montana Western senior point guard Brandon Brown was named to the 75th Anniversary of the 2012 Buffalo Funds-NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship All-Tournament team Tuesday.



UMW equestrian wins regional championship

The University of Montana Western equestrian team competed in two English shows on Saturday, March 10 and the English regional show on Sunday, March 11 at the Utah State University IHSA Horse Show. The winning riders in the regional show will represent Zone 8 Region 3 in competitions at Stanford University in April.

Hot-shooting Concordia ends Bulldogs’ season

The red-hot No. 4 Concordia University Eagles made 15 of 25 three point shots to defeat the University of Montana Western Bulldogs 100-85 in a second round game at the 75th Anniversary of the 2012 Buffalo Funds-NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship in Kansas City Friday afternoon.

The University of Montana Western Bulldogs saw a 22-point second half lead evaporate but held on to defeat the John Brown University Golden Eagles 85-83 in overtime in an opening round game at the NAIA Division I men’s basketball national tournament in Kansas City, Mo. Thursday afternoon.
