Standard Three: Purpose and Organization
Montana Western’s small size is a valuable strength staff and faculty use to give students the dedication, support and personal attention they deserve.
As part of the transformation to Experience One, Montana Western began a concerted effort to better serve students academically through increased advising and career and learning services. These efforts continue to result in a marked increase in academic performance and student retention.
Montana Western Student Affairs serves as an extension of the classroom, giving students a comprehensive educational experience and fostering a campus-wide understanding of students’ rights, freedoms, obligations and conduct expectations. Working closely with faculty, staff, athletics, campus organizations, and the community, Student Affairs creates an open, safe, supportive and healthy environment in which all Montana Western students can excel.
