The University of Montana Western Campus Corps is kicking off the new academic year with events honoring the second annual National Day of Service and Remembrance. Campus Corps is a program designed to connect students to their community through dedicated service.

The University of Montana Western Bulldogs will face the Idaho State University Bengals in Pocatello, Idaho on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 1 p.m.

The Montana Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance (MTAHPERD) recently honored University of Montana Western Associate Professor of Human Health and Performance Megan Chilson with the Dave Oberly Striving for Excellence Award.

University of Montana Western education professor Julie Bullard finished the last block of the spring 2010 semester by taking her Exploring Rich Early Childhood Environments class on a tour of early childhood facilities in Montana, Idaho, Oregon and Washington April 19-23.

Though University of Montana Western biology alumni Kyle Lund’s work may be on a small scale — nano, actually — it’s getting a lot of big attention.
