Today the Governor’s Office of Community Service recognized Montana colleges for their participation in the Donate Life Today campus registration challenge. The Montana Western Campus Corps won the “medium campus” category, but also took first overall with 176 registrants, beating the larger campuses of Montana State University and The University of Montana.
On Saturday, May 8, the University of Montana Western held its 113th Commencement. The 2010 class was the third class to graduate after fully studying under Montana Western’s Experience One block scheduling system.
University of Montana Western 2010 graduate Nicole Yost will compete for the title of 2010 Miss Montana in Glendive during the week of June 13-19.

A closing reception for Dillon, Mont. artist Michelle Milo Ryan’s “Pedal to the Metal: Power Sewn Quilts” will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 17 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the University of Montana Western Art Gallery.
