The 2009 University of Montana Western fall rodeo began with sunshine and blue skies and ended with icy cold temperatures, rain and snow and gusty winds.

When the dust settled – if there was dust – the Montana Western men’s team successfully defended their team title from a year ago and the Montana State women’s team defended their title.

The Bulldog women took second place.

Montana State’s Hutch Haslam was the men’s all-around champion while Montana Western’s Bailee Thompson captured the women’s all-around title.
